When you bake waffles using this digital waffle maker, you create the popular Japanese and Korean Taiyaki waffles. These are made from a pancake batter and have space to add a filling. The shape of Taiyaki waffles is usually a fish because in Japan this symbolises for happiness. After baking, you can fill the Taiyaki waffles with either a traditional red bean paste or something different, such as cheese, chocolate or custard. 

Easy to operate

The aluminium baking tray has a non-stick coating which ensures good conduction of the heat and that the waffles do not stick to the machine. This is helpful so that you do not overcook the Taiyaki waffles and burn them.
