The Heavy Duty hob is fitted with a pilot light that ensures the gas is extinguished when you turn the knob and is also an extra safety feature to prevent gas flowing. You can set the safety thermostat to a temperature between 100 and 300ºC. There is also a safety valve built in for the gas with a thermocouple. The inside corners are also rounded to prevent dirt from accumulating. To clean all parts, simply take them apart and clean them with warm water and a mild detergent. Always dry everything with a soft cloth.
