It is important that you hold the casing firmly and that no air gets into the sausage. It is also advisable not to fill too tightly, otherwise the sausage will not be able to be formed properly.

Regular cleaning is a must as there is always a risk of leftover residue in the reservoir, pressure plate or filling tube. Most stainless steel parts can be removed from the sausage stuffer for cleaning in the dishwasher. For the pressure plate, use a damp cloth and some disinfectant.
